I grew up in Kenosha and attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and worked at a couple of newspapers and a design firm for a few years. In 2010 I started working towards my teaching certification at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. My dual degrees have come in handy often in my classroom! I started at Walker in 2011 as an intern with Team Excellence, then returned full-time as a fourth and fifth grade teacher for the 2012-2013 school year.
I got married over the summer, and with my new name also came a change in teams! I'm excited to be a member of Team Respect this year. My husband and I bought a house in Kenosha, so I make the drive up every day, which is worth it to be a part of such a great school. In my free time I still take on freelance design projects, and I also make jewelry. As a new homeowner I'm starting to get into cooking and gardening more (although gardening is still more of a necessity than a hobby!).

I grew up in West Allis, Wisconsin and attended schools in the West Allis/ West Milwaukee School District. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Psychology. I was very excited to start my career in the West Allis/ West Milwaukee School District when I was hired at Walker Elementary in June of 2007.
I took a strong interest in literacy and in December of 2010 I completed a Master’s Degree in Education, with a focus on Reading Instruction, from Concordia University. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching movies, taking Zumba classes and baking.

I grew up in West Allis, attending West Allis-West Milwaukee schools for kindergarten through 12th grade. I was also very involved with the Recreation Department and working with kids in the school district during my high school and college years. I live with my husband Jason and our dog, Dayne, in Waukesha. During my free time I enjoy spending time up north, running with the dog, using techonology, and spending time with family and friends.
I recieved my bachelor's degree from UW-Oshkosh in 2005. I have been at Walker for six years, having taught 4th and 5th grade for five of those years. Shortly after I got my job here at Walker I began pursing my masters in professional development through UW-LaCrosse. I graduated with that degree in December of 2009. I have such a love for technology (and school I guess too) that I decided to pursue one more masters in instructional technology through Marian University. I will be done with that program in April of 2012.
